Sam Rizzo, Director for Europe in Europe and Middle East Affairs Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR),  Benjamin A. Rockwell, Economic Unit Chief of the Embassy of the United States of America in Portugal ), yesterday visited the ZILS.

Sam Rizzo is one of those responsible in coordinating US trade policy with regard to trade barriers and areas of cooperation through engagement with the European Commission and Member States officials.

The positioning and offer ZILS and all the industrial and port complex SINES have come to awaken the interest of the US as a hub logistics for its exports including energy, and the opportunities and valences infrastructure of impressed Sines, very positively, the visitors having been outlined an activity plan for the development of economic ties.
