A aicep Global Parques e a Câmara Municipal de Sines, assinaram um protocolo de colaboração para a promoção ativa da educação ambiental na região. Uma maior consciência da população e o contributo de todos para um ambiente sustentável no presente e no futuro é o foco da parceria.
O protocolo agora assinado promove a realização conjunta de um leque de atividades de envolvimento da comunidade escolar de Sines e ações de esclarecimento sobre o ambiente. De relembrar a divulgação anual dos resultados das campanhas de monitorização efetuadas pela aicep Global Parques na ZILS, de modo a dar a conhecer à comunidade local o investimento realizado, o trabalho desenvolvido, os resultados obtidos e os planos de mitigação implementados.
Esta parceria abrange ainda a realização de ações conjuntas que visem melhorar as condições ambientais da região, nomeadamente a limpeza de praias e a divulgação de políticas integradas de gestão de ativos florestais e de áreas verdes.
