CPLS celebra Protocolo com a Câmara de Comércio Brasil Portugal – Centro Oeste
A CPLS – Comunidade Portuária e Logística de Sines celebrou um protocolo de cooperação com a Câmara de Comércio Brasil Portugal – Centro Oeste (CCBP-CO) com o objetivo de estudar e promover uma solução logística, eficaz e eficiente para a exportação de produtos agropecuários brasileiros pelos portos do país-irmão, preferencialmente os localizados no Arco Norte, com destino à Europa e ao Norte de África, através do Porto de Sines.
O protocolo prevê a constituição de um grupo de trabalho multidisciplinar com conhecimento profundo da cadeia de valor do mercado agropecuário brasileiro, incluindo a operação marítimo-portuária e a logística multimodal no Brasil e na Europa.
A CCBP-CO representa os interesses dos produtores do Centro Oeste do Brasil que, na sua totalidade, são responsáveis por cerca de 45% de toda a produção agrícola brasileira. Grande parte desta produção é destinada à Europa, utilizando os Portos de Santos e Paranaguá ao invés dos portos do Arco Norte que, potencialmente, podem oferecer uma forte redução nos custos logísticos e ambientais utilizando Sines como porta de entrada na Europa.
Este protocolo insere-se na estratégia da plataforma industrial, logística e portuária de Sines em promover novas áreas de negócio em Sines, como o agronegócio, através do potencial existente de deslocalizar os fluxos logísticos do norte da Europa para Portugal, graças à oferta conjunta e completa que Sines apresenta.
