Grupo Auchan visita a ZILS e o Porto de Sines
A iniciativa foi promovida pela aicep Global Parques, entidade gestora da ZILS, contando também com a presença da Administração do Porto de Sines e da PSA Sines, concessionária do Terminal XXI.
Uma delegação do Grupo Auchan visitou o Porto de Sines e a ZILS – Zona Industrial e Logística de Sines, no passado dia 1 de março, com o objetivo de conhecer o funcionamento desta infraestrutura portuária e as condições de excelência oferecidas pela maior zona industrial e logística da Península Ibérica.
A iniciativa foi promovida pela aicep Global Parques, entidade gestora da ZILS, contando também com a presença da Administração do Porto de Sines e da PSA Sines, concessionária do Terminal XXI. Durante a reunião, as três entidades apresentaram os fatores diferenciadores que fazem da zona de Sines um importante polo que associa uma vasta zona industrial e logística a um porto de águas profundas. Durante a visita, e já no Terminal XXI, a delegação teve ainda oportunidade de assistir à operação de carga e descarga de contentores com recursos a equipamentos de movimentação de última geração.
Em Portugal o Grupo Auchan tem a seu cargo a gestão da cadeia de hipermercados Jumbo e supermercados Pão de Açúcar, num total de 33 lojas, sendo por natureza uma empresa com uma forte componente de importação e que necessita das melhores conexões aos principais mercados de produção globais. No mundo, esta importante empresa do setor da distribuição está presente em 12 países.
