aicep Global Parques strengthens cooperation with Angola to promote business and logistics development
As part of the Official Visit to Portugal by the President of the Republic of Angola, João Lourenço, aicep Global Parques formalised, on 25 July, two strategic cooperation agreements with Angolan entities. These agreements aim to promote private investment and drive the development of industrial and logistics infrastructure, reinforcing the company’s commitment to international cooperation through the exchange of information and the implementation of synergies focused on enhancing business parks.
The Cooperation Protocol with ARCCLA – Angola’s Regulatory Agency for Cargo Certification and Logistics – is aimed at strengthening institutional and technical collaboration, with a focus on sharing best practices in the management of industrial and logistics zones, developing infrastructure concession and operation models, and building technical capacity. This partnership also prioritises the enhancement of logistics value chains and the creation of conditions for sustainable sector growth.
In parallel, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with AIPEX – Angola’s Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency – establishing the terms for institutional collaboration focused on promoting private investment, qualifying business infrastructure, sharing technical knowledge and best practices, and supporting the internationalisation of both Angolan and Portuguese companies.
Both agreements were signed by the Chairwoman of the Executive Board of aicep Global Parques, Isabel Caldeira Cardoso, and Board Member Manuel Gaeiras. They are part of the company’s strategy to promote Portugal’s international capacity for business hosting.
These initiatives are fully aligned with the principles of Portuguese Cooperation 2030 and the goals of the “Acelerar a Economia” programme, particularly in the areas of industrialisation, sustainability, innovation, digitalisation, and internationalisation.
