aicep Global Parques sponsors the 27th Logistics Congress

aicep Global Parques sponsored the 27th Logistics Congress, held under the theme “Human–Machine Collaboration: The New Paradigm”, on October 14 and 15. The event brought together the main entities and experts from Portugal’s logistics sector.

In the panel sponsored by aicep Global Parques, titled “Innovation in Portuguese Ports”, leading organizations such as EY-Parthenon, APS – Port Authority of Sines and the Algarve, APDL – Port Authority of Douro, Leixões and Viana do Castelo, APSS – Port Authority of Setúbal and Sesimbra, and Fórum Oceano presented technological innovation projects focused on improving port productivity and efficiency. The discussion also addressed key challenges and barriers to implementing innovation in port logistics processes, while emphasizing the importance of sustainability.

The Congress as a whole served as a platform for reflection on the new challenges and opportunities arising from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technological transformation in logistics, promoting more innovative, competitive, and sustainable solutions throughout value chains.
