Partnership between BlueBiz and IEFP in training and business competitiveness
In recent years, IEFP – Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional (Institute for Employment and Vocational Training) and BlueBiz – Setúbal Peninsula Business Park have developed a close collaboration focused on supporting companies located in the park and strengthening workforce skills in the region.
This close relationship is reflected, among other initiatives, in the visits regularly organised by BlueBiz with potential investors to the Setúbal Vocational Training Centre, allowing them to learn about the available training capacity and resources. At the same time, employment support measures, hiring incentives, internships and qualification programmes are promoted, facilitating recruitment processes and the integration of talent. The collaboration also includes the development of vocational training initiatives tailored to the specific needs of companies.
As highlighted by Luísa Oliveira, Deputy Director of the Setúbal Vocational Training Centre, “the partnership with BlueBiz has been decisive in strengthening the connection between IEFP and companies in the region, contributing to skills development and to the competitiveness of the territory.”
