BlueBiz received the EU MODEX 2025 exercise
aicep Global Parques, recognising the importance of training and international cooperation, provided the facilities of BlueBiz Business Park for the EU MODEX 2025 exercise, which took place on 27 January. This exercise was promoted by the European Civil Protection Mechanism and locally organised by the GNR and INEM. The event was attended by BlueBiz Director, highlighting the strategic role of this business park in hosting large-scale operations.
After more than six months of preparation, the exercise brought together, in addition to the organising entities, the Portuguese Red Cross and Portuguese Firefighters, recreating the border of the fictional country “Lusitânia”, which requested assistance from the European Union following an 8.5 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale.
At BlueBiz, a key infrastructure was set up for the accreditation and coordination of European teams deployed for rescue and medical support operations.
