aicep Global Parques at Portugal Energy Conference 2025: Energy and Reindustrialisation
aicep Global Parques, represented by Anabela Raposo, Business Director, took part in the Portugal Energy Conference 2025, held on 11 December in Lisbon. The initiative, organised by the World Energy Council Portugal in partnership with APE – Portuguese Energy Association, brought together public and private sector leaders to reflect on energy competitiveness and its impact on the reindustrialisation of Portugal and Europe.
The programme included four sessions focused on the dynamics of established industry, the development of new sectors linked to the energy transition, and the framework of support policies. The event featured the participation of the Secretary of State for the Economy, João Rui Ferreira, in the opening session, and the Minister for Environment and Energy, Maria da Graça Carvalho, in the closing session, alongside several leaders from public entities and key companies in the sector.
During the conference, the Portuguese Energy Association (APE) presented the White Paper “Energy Competitiveness as a Driver of Industrialisation”, offering a comprehensive analysis of the challenges, opportunities, and strategic pathways for Portugal’s green reindustrialisation, essential for strengthening competitiveness, energy autonomy, and alignment with European decarbonisation targets.
