Workshop “Projeto REAKT – Complexo Industrial de Sines – Resultados”
No âmbito do projecto REAKT (Strategies and tools for Real Time EArthquake RisK ReducTion) vai realizar-se dias 15 e 16 de Outubro de 2014, no Centro de Artes de Sines, um Workshop, destinado a divulgar os resultados da participação portuguesa neste projeto europeu.
Tendo como caso de estudo o Complexo Industrial de Sines, a participação nacional no projecto analisa a vulnerabilidade sísmica das suas principais estruturas e equipamentos e os benefícios da implementação de sistemas de alerta precoce para vibrações no Complexo (early warning).
Do projeto resultam ainda recomendações para a redução do risco sísmico em estruturas e equipamentos, bem como o estudo das interdependências do Complexo.
