Sines strengthens its strategic position in attracting international investment
aicep Global Parques took part in the “Impulso Local” conference, organised by Jornal Económico on 11 May in Sines, where the investments planned for the region over the coming years were highlighted.
During his speech, Miguel Borralho, Director of ZILS – Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone, stated that “Sines is clearly in the Champions League”, underlining the territory’s capacity to attract strategic projects in the fields of energy, industry, digital economy and logistics.
He also highlighted the strategic role of the Port of Sines, digital connectivity and the growing installed capacity in fibre optics and submarine cables, as well as the contribution of aicep Global Parques in preparing competitive territories to attract investment, stressing that the company’s mission is to “prepare the ground so that companies can develop their activity in Portugal”.
