
aicep Global Parques and HyLab sign protocol to drive innovation in green hydrogen
On 26 June, aicep Global Parques and HyLab – Green Hydrogen Collaborative Laboratory signed a cooperation protocol in Sines, with the main goal of promoting the development of joint initiatives in the field of green hydrogen. The focus will be on innovation, information sharing, promotion, training, and the upskilling of Business Parks and the companies operating within them.
The protocol was signed by Isabel Caldeira Cardoso, Chair of the Executive Committee of aicep Global Parques, and Nuno Azevedo, Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee, together with Pedro Furtado, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HyLab, and Edgar Fernandes, Board Member and Scientific Coordinator. The signing took place during a visit by aicep Global Parques representatives to HyLab’s facilities at Sines Tecnopolo.
HyLab’s mission is to become a national and international benchmark centre in Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) in the field of green hydrogen. With this initiative, aicep Global Parques aims to reinforce the commitment of the Business Parks it manages to promoting increasingly sustainable, innovative, and competitive investment conditions, in line with the challenges of the energy transition and the decarbonisation of the economy.
