Brazil World Bank delegation visits ZILS
aicep Global Parques welcomed a delegation from the Brazil World Bank at the ZILS – Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone, led by Paulo Bornhausen, Executive Secretary for International Coordination of the State of Santa Catarina, as part of a visit focused on sharing best practices and exchanging experiences in economic development, infrastructure and digital transformation.
The programme began at APS – Port of Sines and Algarve Authority, where the delegation was received by the Chairman of the Board, Pedro do Ó, and continued at the ZILS Business Centre, where participants were welcomed by Miguel Borralho, Director of ZILS, who presented the Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone, and by Joana Neto, from the Business Department, who accompanied the delegation.
The delegation included political representatives from the State of Santa Catarina, members of Caixa Económica Federal, and consultants in digital transformation and artificial intelligence, reflecting the diversity of profiles involved in the mission.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the ZILS ecosystem and its role as a strategic platform for industrial and logistics investment in Portugal, promoting international dialogue and strengthening cooperation between territories.
