aicep Global Parques joins the “Papel por Alimentos” (Paper for Food) campaign
aicep Global Parques has joined the national “Papel por Alimentos” (Paper for Food) campaign, promoted by the Federação Portuguesa dos Bancos Alimentares Contra a Fome (Portuguese Federation of Food Banks Against Hunger). The initiative transforms used paper collected for recycling into food supplies for families in need.
It is based on a simple and effective principle: the proceeds from selling the paper to certified waste operators are converted into essential food products for local distribution.
Since its launch, the campaign has mobilised thousands of public and private entities, generating real social impact across the country.
aicep Global Parques’ participation aligns with its sustainability policy and the good practices it has been implementing in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
Through this initiative, aicep Global Parques promotes a culture of shared responsibility and reinforces its commitment to building a fairer and more sustainable society.
