aicep Global Parques and EDIA sign protocol to enhance the value of ZILS – Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone
On 25 June, aicep Global Parques and EDIA – Empresa de Desenvolvimento e Infraestruturas do Alqueva, S.A. (Alqueva Development and Infrastructure Company), signed a cooperation protocol aimed at strengthening their shared commitment to creating favourable conditions for investment and sustainable economic development.
The protocol was signed by Isabel Caldeira Cardoso, Chair of the Executive Committee of aicep Global Parques, and Manuel Gaeiras, Executive Board Member, as well as by José Pedro Salema, Chair of the Board of Directors of EDIA.
Under the terms of the agreement, EDIA undertakes to submit, via the SNIC platform (National Land Registry Information System), managed by the Directorate-General for Territory, the cadastral regularisation processes for land plots located in ZILS. This step is essential for clarifying land ownership and enhancing the value of the territory.
This protocol reflects a joint commitment to boosting the competitiveness of the Sines region, promoting a supportive environment for resident companies and attracting new investment, in line with national policies for territorial and economic development.
